Recently there has been controversy in my local towns about the right to fly the rebel flag. The argument is that the rebel flag symbolizes a family history. Those who are pro flag believe that they are honoring their ancestors, who fought valiantly in a war which many of them had no choice in joining. With this statement I agree. I believe that because my great grand father fought in a war valiantly, and had no say in the matter, I should be allowed to proudly wave a flag in his honor. That flag is the nazi flag.
Its not hate. Its just heritage.
